No 319800, Agricultural Economics Bibliography from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service
Abstract:
Excerpts from the Foreword: This list is an attempt to bring together references to the economic material relating to agriculture, which is contained in the State official serial publications received currently in the United States Department of Agriculture. Here may be found market reports, crop reports, both mimeographed and printed, reports of State departments of agriculture and State tax commissions, tobacco sales reports, bulletins which are devoted entirely to advertising the products of the State, as well as the more general official periodicals dealing with the agriculture of a particular State. The statistics found in these State publications are many and varied. They include acreage, production, yield per acre, prices (farm, wholesale, retail, etc.), value, crop conditions, market conditions, cost of production, etc. Information as to the type of statistics contained in each publication has been given in the descriptive note and a detailed index, arranged by commodities, has been included.
