Abstract: Excerpts from the Foreword: This is an annotated, classified bibliography of selected references to books, pamphlets, and periodical articles on the incidence of the processing taxes imposed under the Agricultural Adjustment Act. In general, references to editorial comment on the subject have been omitted. At various times during the years 1933-1935 hearings on proposed processing and compensatory taxes were held by the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. These hearings have not been published. Typewritten transcriptions of them are available for consultation in the hearing clerk's office in the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. References to periodical articles giving brief summaries of some of the hearings have been included in this bibliography.
