Abstract:
In an earlier study a linear model of store operation was developed on the basis of queing theory. In the current study an attempt is made to aggregate this model, by an explanation of the micro variables, associated with the instruments of store operation, in terms of macro variables, which describe the external conditions under which shops are operated, resulting in a system of simultaneous equations. The purpose of the study is to provide a basis for later empirical studies.
