LINEARIZATION AND ESTIMATION OF THE ADDI-LOG BUDGET ALLOCATION MODEL

Abstract: In this paper we re-estimate a linearized version of the addi-log budget allocation model. It appears that - for Dutch time-series data - in particular a method of estimation allowing for autocorrelation yields results that are acceptable from the point of view of economic theory.
