No 345468, 16th Congress, Cork, Ireland, July 15-20, 2007 from International Farm Management Association
Abstract:
Important developments and changes in knowledge chains and networks do happen in agriculture. For farmers in the EU more emphasis on the level of entrepreneurship, in comparison to skills and management, will come because of the increasing uncertainties caused by reducing prices and lower market support in the years ahead. Education and research have become much more demand driven by both government and industry. New systems for the distribution of knowledge and information are developing rapidly.
