Abstract:
The paper describes the organization and function of the Danish agricultural advisory service. Important facts that are characteristics in international standards: It is managed by the users and organized by the farmers’ organizations and it consists of two levels; a local level and a national level. Advice is ottered in all areas of farm production. The state subsidies cover about 13 per cent ot the total costs ot the advisory service. No state subsidies are given to farm management and accounting.
