No 346299, 10th Congress, The University of Reading, UK, July 10-15, 1995 from International Farm Management Association

Abstract: The object of this paper is to present the concept of precision farming, a new technology in its infancy. The aim is to explain the reasoning behind the concept. This involves a brief update on past farming practices and why we should leave these. It continues to outline our possibilities for the future - the technics and technology needed to implement precision farming. Finally it argues the benefits to the future user.
