Abstract:
This Rural Business Planner is a CD ROM designed and developed by Farm Management Specialists from the four Western Canadian provinces. Direct funding was provided by the Canadian Farm Business Management Council and funding in kind from the four participating provinces. The purpose of the this CD is to assist rural entrepreneurs develop their own business plans. The Compact Disk has a software program for the client to actually compose his own plan and a Resource Library that contains published information from the Departments of Agriculture of many of the Canadian provinces. There are two tutorials: one explains how to use the CD itself and the other explains how to approach the process of writing a Business Plan. The product is designed to be used by individual clients or by professionals to assist clients to develop Business Plans.
