Abstract:
The implementation of plans normally results in deviations between actual performance and budgeted expectations. Changes in the environment and new information make adjustments to the plan through time necessary for expansion or contraction of the size of a business or parts of it. This is necessary to survive or grow to reach the objectives of the organisation. This paper discusses an integrated control system on an intensive egg production unit. Advanced monitoring techniques such as a global positioning system (GPS), a computerised grading and monitoring (control) system, etc. are discussed in this paper.
