Abstract: The purpose of the conference was to bring together representative viewpoints of individuals and agencies concerned with unique natural and cultural resources. A theme of the meetings was "sharing experiences" and learning from others. It was hoped that this conference could serve as a forum for an exchange and debate of ideas pertinent to existing and future Heritage Resource Programs.
