Abstract: Le présent rapport fait la synthèse des premiers résultats des enquêtes réalisées sur l’intensification durable de la production du sorgho et du maïs dans la Savane soudanienne du Mali. Il décrit en outre les méthodes de collecte et d’analyse des données ainsi la constitution d’une base de données. Pour ce faire, une équipe de recherche solide et fiable a été constituée pour mener à bien ces différentes opérations. L’enquête a porté sur un échantillon de 58 villages, 628 exploitations agricoles et 1382 par celles de culture.
