NORTH CAROLINA FARM INCOME AND PRODUCTION 1950-1989

Abstract: This report summarizes North Carolina farm financial and production data since 1950. Section 1 details the financial statements, including income accounts and balance sheet data. These reports separate the operator's dwelling and household from farm production transactions, assets, and debt this section is - based on data from Economic Indicators of the Farm Sector, where additional explanations may be found; Section 2 examines inputs committed to farm production in terms of farm numbers, land, labor, expenses on input categories, input prices and quantity indexes. Section 3 presents the production, prices and shares -of major crop and livestock items in North Carolina. Section 4 shows acreage, yield production, price and value of the major crops. Section 5 includes animal numbers, production; price and value of major livestock and poultry products.
