Abstract:
This report presents an improved version of a reactive programming algorithm that has been in general use for some years. Several new features have been added. Interpretive statements allow the user to follow more readily the sequence of calculations and to modify these with greater ease. A variety of options are provided that reduce the cost of exploring the effects of changes in parameters on output, product flows and the spatial price surface. The transportation problem may be solved using one option in REACT. Output formats may be selected to meet a variety of report requirements. The new input structure is suited to interactive terminal use.
