BARLEY PRODUCTION COSTS: A CROSS-BORDER COMPARISON

Abstract: Barley production costs are compared for five states and three Canadian provinces. A stochastic simulation, incorporating yield and exchange-rate risk, is used to characterize regional cost advantages in terms of probabilities.
