Abstract:
We conduct counterfactual simulation experiments of economic growth in the ASEAN Member States through a computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of global trade. Based on the CGE model involving 24 countries and 25 sectors, we construct four simulation scenarios from 2018 to 2035, and then we consider the simulation results on real GDP, productivity growth, production structure, and wage rates for ASEAN.
