Abstract:
This study aims to analyse the extent to which removing market constraints can foster smallholder’s adaptation to climate change. To that end, the study makes use of an optimization model by relying on the Agricultural Household Model (AHM) theory. The model is applied to survey data collected from the central part of the Republic of Benin. Keywords: agricultural household model, bioeconomic model, climate change, market constraints
