Souleymane Sadio Diallo and Simon Mevel-Bidau

No 333275, Conference papers from Purdue University, Center for Global Trade Analysis, Global Trade Analysis Project

Abstract: The main objective of this study is to assess the potential impact of the implementation of the AfCFTA on poverty and inequality in Africa. Using a combination of the MIRAGE model and a microsimulation model, it conducts several simulations to trace the trajectory of poverty and income inequality indices in key economies of the continent.
