Abstract:
This article has the objective to accomplisher by the hypothesis test convergence absolut, conditional and sigma convergence of GDP growth per capita in the farming field for the brasilian states in the period of 1980 to 2004. These models were tested contemplating the structure of data in panel. The econometric tests puts forward to an absolut convergence porecess, and when conditioned to the human capital its becomes more. However, the estimates do not show the existence of sigma convergence.
