CARACTERIZAÇÃO DO SISTEMA PRODUTIVO DE LEITE NA REGIÃO DO MÉDIO PARANAPANEMA, ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO

Abstract: O presente artigo teve como objetivo caracterizar o sistema produtivo do leite na região do Médio Paranapanema, Estado de São Paulo verificando sua importância para a economia local. Os resultados foram obtidos através de entrevistas qualitativas com técnicos do setor público, produtores rurais e coleta de informações em fontes bibliográficas impressas e eletrônicas. A região é constituída por pequenas propriedades de gado misto apresentando alguns índices zootécnicos abaixo do ideal, informalidade na comercialização do leite e demonstrativo do início de uma organização na cadeia produtiva regional. O sistema agroindustrial do leite tem potencial de crescimento e pode se tornar significante, uma vez que o produto leite contribui com 59% na formação da renda bruta dos pequenos estabelecimentos.---------------------------The present article has as objective characterizing the agribusiness of the milk in the area of Midle Paranapanema, São Paulo State's verifying your importance for the local economy. The results were obtained through qualitative interviews with technicians of the public section, rural producers and collection of information in bibliographical sources printed and electronics. The area is constituted by small properties of mixed cattle presenting some zootechnical indexes below the ideal, informality in the commercialization of the milk and demonstrative of the beginning of an organization in the regional productive chain. The agribusiness of the milk has growth potential and it can become significant, once the product milk contributes with 59% in the formation of the rude income of the small establishments.
