ATRIBUTOS CONSIDERADOS IMPORTANTES NA DECISÃO DE COMPRA DOS COMPRADORES DE CARNE SUÍNA EM BELO HORIZONTE-MG

Abstract: O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi identificar os atributos considerados importantes na decisão de compra dos compradores de carne suína em Belo Horizonte-MG. Quanto à metodologia, trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza quantitativa cujos dados foram coletados por meio de um levantamento do tipo survey aplicando-se um questionário estruturado em uma amostra de 399 compradores de carne suína em Belo Horizonte-MG. Utilizou-se para análise dos dados técnicas de estatística descritiva e multivariada (análise de cluster, análise discriminante e análise de variância) por meio do software SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Como conclusões da pesquisa destaca-se que os compradores de carne suína estão mais exigentes quanto à aparência, qualidade e segurança alimentar, mas também querem mais benefícios agregados ao produto como comodidade e praticidade. Espera-se que os resultados da presente pesquisa contribuam para ampliar a compreensão do estudo sobre o comportamento de compra de carne suína, bem como subsidiar as estratégias de marketing dos agentes dessa cadeia produtiva. --------------------------------------------The objective of the present research was to identify the attributes considered important in the purchase decision of the pork buyers in Belo Horizonte-MG. As regards the methodology, it is concerned with a research of quantitative nature the data of which were collected by means of a assay of the survey type applying a structured questionnaire into a sample of 399 pork buyers in Belo Horizonte-MG. For data analysis, techniques of descriptive and multivariate statistics (cluster analysis. discriminant analysis and variance analysis) by means of SPSS software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) were utilized. As conclusions of the research, it is stood out that pork buyers are more demanding as to appearance, quality and food safety, but they also want more benefits aggregated to both commodity and practicity. It is hoped that the results of the present work have contributed to widen the understanding of the study on the behavior of pork purchasing as well as to subside the marketing strategies of the agents of that productive chain.
