Factors of Competitiveness of Horticultural Enterprises in Slovenia

Abstract: This paper analyses factors of competitiveness for the sample of horticultural enterprises in Slovenia. We aim to identify factors, which have significant impact on competitiveness and business efficiency of the horticultural enterprises. In the analysis are included traditional financial evidence and non-financial parameters. Factors of competitiveness and business efficiency of horticultural enterprises are analysed for the sample of 100 horticultural enterprises in Slovenia. The survey research and more detailed handling of some questions and data processing were conducted in 2008. In the paper is presented the role of factor of competitiveness in the analysed horticultural enterprises in assuring business efficiency.
