Abstract:
Excerpts from the report Summary: Preliminary evaluation of new promising chemicals for toxicity and repellency were conducted at the Stored-Product Insects Research and Development Laboratory, Savannah, Ga. Six compounds were tested against adult confused flour beetles, Tribolium confusum Jacquelin duVal, and black carpet beetle larvae, Attagenus megatoma (F.). Of the six compounds tested, four showed promise as direct-contact toxicants against both species.
