Abstract:
This study was undertaken in order to obtain up-to-date information on the marketing of Washington apples, and the margin taken by each marketing agency in relation to the services performed. Such a study can be used in locating points at which there may be possibilities of improving marketing practices and increasing marketing efficiency. This, in turn, might help to expand market outlets and make possible greater returns to producers and lowered costs to consumers.
