Abstract:
Excerpts from the report Introduction: The main objectives of the study will be: I. To discover what characteristics manufacturers want in the fabrics used for upholstery, headlining, sidewalls, rear carpet mats, and convertible tops. II. As an indication of preference to discover what materials automobile manufacturers are now using in high-priced, medium-priced, and low-priced cars, III. To discover what changes are taking place in the use of textile materials and the reasons for those changes. IV. To discover who makes decisions about textile materials and what are the bases for decisions.
