Abstract:
Government policy affects virtually all U.S. wheat production and sales. Thus, decisions about the national wheat program will affect the U.S. role in the world wheat market, as well as domestic wheat production and consumption decisions. The issues involved and their likely effects depend on the domestic and international settings that the U.S. wheat industry faces.
