Abstract:
This report presents statistical summaries of U.S. foreign trade in I agricultural products by country during calendar years 1989 and 1990. Exports and imports valued at more than $1 million are shown. U.S. Bureau of the Census Harmonized System (HS) listings are grouped in standardized economic classes or commodity groups. On January 1, 1989, the United States joined other countries in adopting a new export and import commodity classification system based on the international Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS).
