Abstract:
U.S. agricultural exports rose in both value and volume in fiscal year (FY) 1987 for the first time in nearly a decade, gaining $1.6 billion and 20 million tons. u.s. ~ agricultural imports fell in FY 1987 for the first time in 5 years. U.s. agricultural exports to the European Community (EC) rose 5 percent in FY 1987, after 4 years of decline, to $6.8 billion.
