Abstract:
Exports of farm products during the first 7 months of FY 1992 advanced $3.1 billion from a year ago boosted by gains in wheat, soybeans, meat, poultry, fruits, nuts, and vegetables ••• U.S. farm product imports during the first 7 months of FY 1992 totaled a record $14 billion, up 4 percent over the same period last year ..• Total U.S. agricultural exports in FY 1991 were down more than 6 percent from year-earlier levels, primarily because of lower bulk commodity shipments and lower prices.
