UNITED STATES FOREIGN TRADE IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS VALUE BY COUNTRIES CALENDAR YEAR 1952

United States Department Of Agriculture

No 281518, Foreign Agricultural Trade of the United States (FATUS) from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: Because of the very great interest in the destinations and origins of agricultural products exported from or imported into the United States, a special tabulation of the values of domestic exports and imports for con¬ sumption is published in this special foreign trade report. In addition to the statistics of over-all values by countries of destination and origin, which are shown in tables 1 and 2, there are included statistics of the principal agricultural products making up this foreign trade. These are shown in tables 3 and 4- The detailed statistics relate to the calendar year 1952 only, i.e., comparable figures for earlier years by country and by com¬ modity are not shown in detail. Included with the text, however, are statis¬ tics for earlier years for some of the major countries of destination and origin with sub-totals of principal commodity groups.
