Abstract: Excerpt from the report Introduction: This manual provides basic guidelines for preparing tables for publication. Beginners should find them especially helpful. The information also is intended to help experienced tablemakers. The guidelines are ones used by the Economic Research Service, Statistical Reporting Service, and Office of Management Services, but they should prove valuable to other agencies.
