Abstract: Excerpts from the Introduction: This bibliography was first planned in response to a request for a bibliography on the construction and. operation of cold storage plants for the handling of dairy and poultry products. After the compiling of the material had been begun, it was decided to enlarge the scope to include other commodities, - such as fruits, vegetables, furs, etc. - but to limit it as to subject matter and date of material included. The index of the bibliography is designed to bring out the names of all authors mentioned, and all references to commodities and to such other subjects as the user might otherwise have difficulty in locating.
