No 320325, Miscellaneous Publications from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: Excerpts from the report: Steps are being taken to stimulate the economic development of American Samoa, an underdeveloped territory of the United States. The Economic Research Service conducted a study in 1962 of present marketing practices in order to recommend improvements. The Area Redevelopment Administration of the Department of Commerce provided funds for the study.
