No 154618, Statistical Bulletin from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: This publication presents final estimates of prices received by farmers for corn for grain, sorghum for grain, oats, all barley, all hay, and alfalfa hay by State and United States for 1949-78. Other hay prices are available beginning in 1972. Feed and malting barley are available for 1978 at u.S. level only. It is the first statistical bulletin for these crops to include monthly prices by State in a longtime series. Data for the period 1979-82 are available in Statistical Bulletin No. 735. Comparable data for wheat, rye, and rice for the period 19419-78 were published in Statistical Bulletin No. 726.
