Foreign Ownership of U.S. Agricultural Land Through December 31, 1993

Abstract:
Foreign persons owned 14.6 million acres of U.s. agriculturalland as of December 31, 1993. This is slightly more than.1 percent of all privately held agricultural land and 0.65 percent of all land in the United states. These and other findings are based on an analysis of reports submitted in compliance with the Aqricultural Foreign Investment Disclosure Act of 1978.
