Abstract: This publication presents final hog and pig estimates, made by the Agricultural Statistics Board for the period 1988-1992 including some revisions and continues the official series published in Statistical Bulletin No. 797 issued December 1989. This series includes annual and quarterly estimates for inventory. sows farrowed. pig crops. number of operations with hogs. value of inventory on December 1. and percentage estimates of inventory and operations by size groups for those years. Estimates contained in this publication provide a historical record and benchmark for current estimates.
