Abstract:
Each country/region component of the world grain-oilseeds-livestock (GOL) agricultural trade model has been converted to run on an MS/DOS IBM compatible microcomputer. This report documents the microcomputer version of the model and the techniques used to run and manage it. The model components and operation are kept entirely within spreadsheets. Users of the microcomputer version of a GOL country/region model need only know how to use a spreadsheet to manipulate and modify model components.
