STATE-LEVEL COSTS OF PRODUCTION, 1985
Robert G. McElroy
No 277933, Staff Reports from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service
Abstract:
State-level cost-of-production estimates are particularly important in extension research. Official U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates at the State level have not been available due to conceptual and methodological changes in 1983. The costs and returns in this report are consistent with regional and national weighted averages published annually in the Economic Indicators of the Farm Sector: Costs of Production. The estimates are preliminary and subject to revision.
