No 356540, Technical Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: This publication consolidates information on the origin, descriptive characteristics, agronomic performance, seed composition, and disease reaction of over 2,000 soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] germplasm accessions in maturity groups 000-IV from the USDA Soybean Germplasm Collection. These accessions were introduced into the United States by 1960. Publicly developed cultivars from the United States and Canada released by 1966 were also included. The data reported here were collected in three tests: maturity groups 000 to 0 at St. Paul, MN, in 1964; maturity groups I and II at Urbana, IL, in 1964, and maturity groups III and IV at Urbana, IL, in 1965 and 1966.
