The Processing Sector of the Sugar Industries of Cuba and Florida

Abstract: The main characteristics of the industrial (processing) sector of the sugar industries in Cuba and Florida are analyzed. In addition to the discussion on industrial parameters and industry efficiency in both places, the section on Cuba includes a description of the current process of economic reforms taking place in its sugar agro-industry.
