A Model of Agricultural Trade for Differentiated Products

Emilio Pagoulatos and Elena Lopez

No 239855, Staff Paper Series from University of Florida, Food and Resource Economics Department

Abstract: The model described in this paper was developed to take account of international product differentiation through imperfect substitutability. Utilizing a CRESH function to represent a demand and a supply function appropriate for differentiated products, we arrived at a model for the analysis of the effects on agricultural trade of various government policies.
