Abstract: Excerpts from the report: Farmer owned and operated cooperatives play a major role in marketing livestock, dairy, and poultry products. Cooperative activities in dairy, livestock, and poultry range from single functions such as auction sales to integrated operations involving feeding, slaughtering, processing, and marketing. A number of livestock, dairy, and poultry cooperatives export their products. This booklet will help familiarize you with these cooperatives and their export capabilities.
