Abstract:
The Joint Task Force formulated research approaches and objectives to the following Research Problem Areas (RPA) in regard to Rural Development: Improvement of Economic Opportunities for Rural People (RPA 907 and 804); Causes of, and Remedies for, Poverty Among Rural People (RPA 803); Improvement of Rural Community Institutions and Services (RPA 908); Housing Needs of Rural Families (RPA 801); The Communication Process in Rural Life (RPA 805); and Individual and Family Adjustment to Change (RPA 806). The Joint Task Force formulated research approaches/needs and objectives to the following Research Problem Areas (RPA) in regard to Quality of Family Living: Family Adjustment to Change (RPA 806); Family Communication (RPA 805); Family Use of Resources (RPA 802); Family Poverty - Causes and Remedies (RPA 803); Family Housing Needs (RPA 801); Family Community Service Needs (RPA 908); Food Choices, Habits, and Consumption (RPA 703); Home Food Use (RPA 704); Human Nutritional Well-Being (RPA 708); and Selection and Function of Consumer Textile Items (RPA 705).
