Abstract: This report supersedes mimeograph release AEP-30, March 1958. It has been compiled from State extension replies to a request for information about the extent of vertical or horizontal integration and/or contract farming and extension or research activities related thereto. Information relating to the scale of operations and volume-cost relationships was included in the inquiry.
