Abstract:
In this bulletin Mr. Bond describes the rice industry of Louisiana and Texas and gives measurements of the quantities of water used in irrigating rice. The laws relating to irrigation in the two States dealt with are also discussed. Mr. Keeney's report covers North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, and is almost wholly descriptive.
