Abstract:
A methodology is discussed which enables rural decision makers to estimate solid wast service needs for a community or area and to evaluate the costs of alternative combinations of solid waste collection, transfer and landfill disposal systems. This methodology can be used by Extension professionals to facilitate better-informed rural solid wast planning.
