Abstract: The Revised Concept Plan 1991 provides for the decentralisation of commercial activities to regional and sub-regional centres. This paper examines the attractiveness of regional centres as a place for employment using a case study of Tampines Regional Centre, which is currently the most developed regional centre in Singapore.
