Abstract:
Creation of contract savings scheme in nineties and its evolution. Actors in the market, legislation, market share, banking products. Impact of the contractual savings on the new housing construction, reconstructions, affordability of housing units, and on the economy as the whole. Partnerships with contractual savings banks. Competitive forms of funding the new housing construction. Problems of the contractual savings, and possible solution for the future. Some copmparisons of contractual savings in Slovakia and in France.
