The Information Sources of Real Estate in Poland

Abstract: The main purpose of this paper is to present the existing real estate information sources in Poland, indicating the range of information included and the target of each register. Authors will also present the importance of those registers in creating the Polish land register in order to implementing the planned reform of property taxation based on the property value. The information sources of real estate are conducted by public institutions including municipal offices and local courts, in order to keep a real estate record. However, the range of information contained in every information source is various, hindering the real estate turnover and investment activity in Poland.
