LOBBYING FOR REAL ESTATE - WHO IS THE REAL ESTATE MARKET

Abstract:
Not just since the beginning of the sub prime crisis in the US we are aware, the Real Estate Industry plays a crucial role in modern economies. In Germany ñ although the biggest export nation of the world with a strong industrial sector ñ real estate stocks make up some 88% of the total capital stock. Compared to the economic importance, the real estate industry plays a minor role within the pressure groups in Germany and properly throughout the world. This paper analyses the reasons for the week lobbying of the Real Estate Industry, looks the mayor changes that took place within the market, and describes the new evolutions in Germany, and the EU.
