Abstract:
Risk management today is an integral part of project management. The risks and opportunities within the scope of a project are managed through by Project Management with the allocation of functional responsibilities to members of the project team. Ultimately, the responsibility of the effectiveness of risk management lies within project management, since the project manager is responsible for the achievement of goals of project management. There is a direct correlation between effective Risk Management and project success. Risk management is a tool for managing projects effectively throughout their life cycles. This paper is to contribute to the body of knowledge on Risk Management in Building Procurement Routes and help Project Managers to adopt / recommend the appropriate route based on clientsí goals after diligent risk analysis and measurement and follow through to a successful outcome.
